China GDP economic growth 12.7% in first half of 2021

On July 15，2021, China National Bureau of Statistics announced economic data for the first half of the 2021 year. According to preliminary calculations, the GDP of the first half of the year was 53,216.7 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.7% based on comparable prices, a drop of 5.6% from the first quarter. In terms of quarters, the first quarter increased by 18.3% year-on-year, and the two-year average growth was 5.0%; the second quarter increased by 7.9%, and the two-year average growth was 5.5%.
From International voice, Chinese economic recovery tends to be balanced, providing support for the global economic recovery shaken by the rebound of the epidemic.
